FAQ
Do you see people in person or only Telehealth?
I am currently only doing sessions over Zoom. Although there are perks to in-person therapy, I have a new found appreciation for the accessibility that Zoom provides, as well as the virtual interactive pieces that can be brought more conveniently into the space via a
web-based platform.
Are you a licensed therapist?
I am not a licensed therapist, however I have been clinically trained as a therapist and graduated with my MA in Clinical Psychology. I have been providing one-on-one and group therapy since 2018 in a clinical setting, and general mental health support services since 2013.
Are you a mandated reporter?
I am not a mandated reporter and therefore I utilize community supports as a much safer option instead of calling the police. I will always work with you to discuss alternative resources to use if you are in a crisis, and how I can support you in that process.
Do you take insurance?
Unfortunately, I don't take insurance. However, I do offer a sliding scale fee ($30-$120) and will collaborate with you on figuring out a cost that works for you. I try to make mental health as accessible and co-creative as possible.
